City of Prague Waste Collection Yard
The people of Prague have now the opportunity to use what has become the thirteenth collection yard in the City of Prague at Perucká 2542/10, Praha 2 - Vinohrady. This collection yard opened its doors in February 2010 and is run by our company.

The collection yard is there to be used by the people of Prague to dispose of selected types of waste and discarded electrical and electronic equipment free of charge.
You may not dispose of hazardous elements of building waste here (e.g. asphalt roofing containing tar, asbestos roof tiles and other materials containing asbestos etc.). Neither does the collection yard generally take unseparated household refuse and rotting or smelly waste.
Only vehicles of a maximum load-bearing capacity of 3.5 tons may enter the yard.
Legal entities, individuals engaging in business and individuals who cannot prove that their permanent residence is located within the city may dispose of waste here for a fee. This fee covers the costs of the further use or disposal of waste.
THE WASTE WE ACCEPT:
• Bulky waste (furniture, household appliances)
• Rubble from housing modifications (up to 1 m3 free of charge)
• Wooden waste
• Waste from the upkeep of greenery (grass, branches, leaves)
• Metal waste
• Paper, glass, plastics, drinks cartons
• Hazardous elements of municipal waste (batteries, paints, thinners, medicines, adhesives etc.)
• Tyres - CZK 25 per tyre
• Discarded electrical and electronic equipment (refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, PCs, small appliances, toys etc.)
The collection yard is run by staff who will be glad to help you dispose of your waste in the right way in the right waste containers or skips. The people of Prague can also order the collection of bulky waste (e.g. bulky furniture, electrical and electronic scrap, metal and wooden waste) by sending a written order by fax (236 040 003), e-mail (sbernydvur@komwag.cz) or post or by placing the order in person at a collection yard. The price of specially-ordered collection and taking to the collection yard is made up of two elements: the price of transport, which is charged for the journey from the collection yard to the place of loading and back, and the price of loading the waste, which depends on the amount.
