Day with Komwag 2026 - photo report

On Wednesday, 27 May 2026, the 18th annual “Day with Komwag” event took place. The event has long supported environmental awareness among children from nursery and primary schools. In addition to educational activities, young visitors enjoyed plenty of fun, competitions, and demonstrations of Komwag a.s. equipment, including a presentation on graffiti removal.

The main partner of the event was once again EKO‑KOM, whose “Colorful Day” programme animators have extensive experience in organizing similar events. Thanks to their engaging teaching tools, they managed to capture the attention of a wide age range of children. Also participating were the Prague 2 Municipal District with its projects “Clean Two” and “Two with Heart.”

A major advantage was the covered hall of the Jih complex on Perucká Street, which provided pleasant shade for part of the programme. The weather was sunny, with temperatures approaching 30°C. Thanks to excellent cooperation with the education department of our municipal district, we registered 800 children with their teachers at the entrance this year. We were also pleased to welcome parents with children who arrived individually.

The day also included the evaluation of an art competition on the theme “KOMWAG, DREAM JOB.” Choosing only nine winning drawings was not easy at all. The awarded children received a beautiful set of 72 coloured pencils in a practical metal case.

The main attraction of this year’s event was a scootering and skateboarding exhibition on a U‑ramp. The morning programme offered not only demonstrations and adrenaline‑filled jumps, but also a workshop in which children could actively participate.

At the end of the day, children could choose Komwag promotional gifts according to their preferences, which for many was a pleasant finishing touch to the entire event.
